What makes a good listing?

To sell your products effectively, several factors need to be in order. A listing on bol.com consists of three different elements: the title, the photos, and the description. These all need to be 10/10.

What makes a good title?

Use a maximum of 100 characters. This gives you room for all keywords without making your title too long. A good title includes strong keywords, but don't make it too cluttered. Avoid duplicate words, as Bol and Google automatically combine words.

The best photos for your product

Don't be too proud to outsource this if you're not creative enough. For around €100–€150, you can get 6 to 8 photos for your product. Aim for a maximum of 8 photos and avoid overloading the images with text.

A good description

A good description always starts with an introduction. Try to incorporate as many keywords as possible here, but make it natural. Make sure the introduction presents a problem and explains how your product can solve it.

After the introduction comes the rest of the text. Use an <H3> tag for a heading, followed by a maximum of 2/3 sentences. Keep it concise and to the point.

After the headings, include a short list of the product's benefits (maximum 8 benefits).
