When selling, you naturally don't want someone else to simply start selling on your listing. To prevent this, you need to register your brand. This way, no one can sell under the same brand name without your permission.

The steps you need to follow
The first step is to go to boip.int.
Click on 'register a trademark'. Create an account if you don't have one yet.
Choose your trademark type: word mark, figurative mark, or figurative mark with wordmark.
Choose which products your trademark applies to (classes).
Answer the questions about your registration, verify your details, and complete payment.
Fees
For a trademark registration with 1 class, you pay €244. The second class costs an additional €27. From the third class onwards, you pay €81 per class.
Expedited registration: €440 including 1 class.
